I would pissed if they were real Grand Nationals

I like the choice of the Ford 9" rear.
I highly doubt they are. It's a lot cheaper to buy several Regals and paint them black as opposed to buying several GN's that they're just going to wreck anyways.
Take a peek at the second picture showing the rear of the car. Notice anything missing around the rear window? I smell an ex-vinyl top car... they just painted over the plastic pieces that are under the factory top.
In the video trailer you can clearly hear that the cars are V8 powered. They need reliable power for stunt driving scenes, and I'd bet you a Coke that all of 'em have SBC's under the hoods. In the third pic you can see they either put in a fake intercooler or more likely added it with the computer in editing because that shot looks fake anyways.

NOW GRAND NATIONAL ARE GONNA BE WORTH OVER 100 GRAND JUST CAUSE THEY CAME OUT ON A MOVIE JUST LIKE ELEANOR IN GONE IN 60 SECONDS. LOL

how was the first one a good movie? it was not realistic in the least.
it made a bunch of people with imports suddenly think they all had 10 second cars. they all put on retarded body kits, obnoxiously loud exhaust tips and pretty much made every one them try me on the street.
holy cow i cant tell you how angry i was over that movie.
these movies do nothing more than make the people watching them think their car is more badass than it really is. massive wings and carbon fiber shifter knobs dont make your car faster.
i hate car movies like this. go wreck some 2000 honda accord and leave the old irreplaceable cars alone. you know how this works, take an old car and utterly destroy it. even if the car was originally a base model fact is these cars they use are becoming more rare.

The louder exhaust is pretty annoying, but I think the people who think VTEC is amazing are even more annoying. All it does is allow that torque and horsepower produced by the engine to last longer. Those who say "VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO" are just making themselves look stupid because when it does kick in you shouldn't feel it, your car will just keep accelerating quickly for a longer period of time.
