G bodyparts.com experience

I've heard it can be hit or miss. I've ordered from them a few times. Never a bad experience.

When everything goes perfect, it's easy for a company to look good. It's when things go sideways that the good companies step up and shine.

That's my 2 cents. (With inflation, that means nothing)

I haven't had any issues with them and just recently ordered something for my Regal and it was shipped fast and came as described.

If you understand it's a tiny operation. It makes sense that communication is limited. Not in a negative way but if you email them and they don't answer in 1 day. They may be boxing up a part, going to the bank or at home sick.

Use Classic Industries as a comparison. They have staff sitting there waiting for the phone to ring, answer questions. A separate shipping department. A giant warehouse. There is no comparison. I'm guessing but maybe over 50 employees, even one to clean the bathroom vs a 2 person operation.

I find they offer a couple things that others don't but their prices can typically be beat. The descriptions are sometimes a bit vague to me, and I felt misled at one point. Aside from that I've received my parts on time and in secure condition- no actual issues when I did business with them.

Doesn’t help much but I used to order from them about 14-15 years ago. It was always great. Fast, super affordable.
Never had an issue.
Lately I feel like what most people post is less than stellar reviews. Some I’ve seen stating it’s been several months since ordering “in stock” parts. I also think that most people that get good service don’t leave reviews while everyone with even a small problem takes it personal and posts their hurt feelings all over social media.
With that said. Shoot them a message, see if they actually respond/ have the parts. That would also help you gauge their response time.

I haven't ordered from them in many years, It was a O.E hood latch and a safety catch.& they said they were in stock but when I reached out after the sale Turns out they were not because they were out for powder coat.didn't know that until I reached out and they informed me. That's totally fine.i remember a few years ago some people We're carrying on that Brian was up to some shady tactics but I can't remember what it was all about or anything became of it. What I remember Misfitmike63 Actually visited that place Many years ago and said it was a bigger operation then one would think. I honestly think we've become so accustomed to getting stuff rather quickly and getting shipping information almost instantaneously because of the Amazon type world that we live in. Alongside of instant gratification mindset that's unfortunately become the norm.we gotta remember that these mom and pop establishments are the one's that layed the ground work for everything. I have a Brother that has been so accustomed to Amazon life that I suggested that he gets stuff from (insert website here)and/or our local place and he can't bring himself to do it because he wants this stuff as soon as possible even though he really doesn't need it and it's kinda sad as a whole we're at this point.

I be never ordered from them but I have something on negative reviews. I work for an automotive paint supplier. We opened a store about a year and a half ago in a location that used to be an auto parts store. We currently have two bad reviews, up from none. They’re both because they thought it was still an auto parts store and is no longer. Can’t get them removed of course.
I like to take the worst, and best out, then see where it is in the middle.

I'm pretty pleased with the free key chain they sent me on my first and only order from them so far. I didn't have any issues with them. They just don't have the selection Dixie does
