Wheels look great and I love that rear bumper/light upgrade.

Things have been slow with the car since I put the wheels on it. Since then I've worked anywhere from 60 to 100 hrs. each week. in this time I have managed to install a new stereo system. In the meantime while I had the interior out I have installed some new to me seatbelts. The radio is a Kenwood KDC-X898 Excelon CD/MP3/WMA Receiver with Bluetooth. I've had a $50 junkyard radio for the past 4 years and never really listened to it because honestly I like listening to the engine more, but lately with the plan of putting the Grand Prix dash in the car I figured it was time for a new system. I also installed a Bazooka BTA10250 250W 10" BT Series Class D Amplified Subwoofer Bass Tube. I know what you are thinking "a Bazooka tube?" Yea, a Bazooka tube. I am really not in to the really loud and obnoxious systems anymore and I figured for the ease of install and removal (if wanted) this was my best solution. As for the seatbelts, they should be installed tonight. I had to run them through the dishwasher a few time to remove the stains from them (Simple Green works wonders), they came out better than my original belts but definitely not perfect. I will try to get a few pics tonight when I get home from work.

Great Build! I must be crazy tho. Im switching my car from the 87-88 style bumper and lights to the older style...lol

Still slow with any progress on Christine. Can't ever get off work long enough to get anything accomplished! I did manage to make it to one car show a few weekends ago. It was the local Oldsmobile clubs "Spring Dust Off" car show.

I also got tired of my nose & rear bumper cover not having paint on them, so I took them off and to the paint shop.

That nose is one of the last NOS GM Monte SS front bumper covers (as far as I know) and I did this to it.....

I should have all of the parts back either tomorrow or Monday I'm trying to make her half way presentable for the Monte Nationals that are coming up in a few weeks.

glad to see you are getting some "car time" in 8) ! if you still have the egg crate, and would be interested in selling it for that "right price" pm me.

A few changes for the Monte over the weekend. I got my bumper covers back from the paint shop (front & rear) & got the engine, trans, harness & computer from the truck. Here's a few pics of the progress.....

Great job! Your monte looks amazing! What size tires did you go with for your 18s?

Thanks Rok, it wasn't always this way. I've been working on it since 2000 on a very tight budget. The wheel & tire package are Boss 338's 18"x8" for the front & 18"x9.5 for the rear with BF Goodrich KDWS 245/40ZR 18 front & 275/40ZR 18 rear.

Where did you get that grill? I found a thread on MCSS Forum and emailed the dude that makes grills that look like that. He is supposed to send me some pics.

😱 One of my friends said the only reason he doesn't like the Monte carlos is b/c of the front grilles look bad. It's too bad I'm out of touch w/ him or I'd shoot him a pic of your monte. This is how the MCSS front end should have came stock... it looks much better.
