Gates 27004 fuel hose

Well then i guess its time to switch fuels, my static compression 10:1 ZZ4 has a dynamic compression ratio of 7.84:1 thanks to the camshaft's 52degress of IVC/ABDC... so i should be just fine with 90octane ethanol free gas thats available nearby, but costs more. 😀

But you'll get better fuel mileage. It may not exactly even out, but it will run just fine. And if the hose gets eaten by ethanol, it'll cost more as well.

Figure once i get to 1/4 tank or less... i'll throw $30 worth of 90oct ethanol free fuel and see how that goes.

I run a progression ignition HEI distributor, i can always change the timing on the fly to suit the fuel to keep it out of detonation, of which i do have a slight pinging problem off and on with the 93octane/10% ethanol fuel, even with 16initial/32total @ 3000 rpm, go figure.

I can also get the Gates 27315 hose at a nearby O'reilys for around $4.89 per foot, a good 3ft peice of tubing should suffice if need be.
