Gauge swap wiring

I put a GP dash in my Malibu. I got the whole dash harness, but the problem is, the dash came with the idiot light cluster. I've since bought a factory gauge pack. The sensors are different between the 2. Which wires will I use to hook up the gauges since the connections are different. The pics are the oil sender wiring.

I'm not 100% but I think its the middle wire that's tan. Are you using the fat round sending unit with one connector?

The oil pressure gauge sender uses a single blade that is offset - the connector looks like yours with the slot for one blade missing. I believe it is a tan wire. The pressure is read as a variable resistance to ground - thus one wire.

Thanks guys. That's the answer I was looking for. I will be looking for another underhood harness but I can splice/strip down this harness as need be. Just want it to as little clutter as possible.
