Well for the hell of it, heres the hurst
1983 hurst olds, hardtop sandstone interior car. Bought it with rod knock, rebuilt the original 307 ho, added some flowmaster dumps and a shift kit. Everything works in the car, fixed all the odds and ends and did suspension and brakes. Has 153k on the clock, 3k on the rebuild. I know this puts me at 2 cars posted, but since i posted the turbo regal 2 months ago i dont know if its allowed to be posted again.

lol...I almost can't believe that someone would actually rebuild a 307 Olds. The one in my Regal runs perfect and just had a new timing chain, water pump and several other items installed on it. I would have gladly GIVEN you this motor. When my 455 is ready, I'm hauling this engine to the recyclers. I wouldn't think it would even be worth my time to advertise it on craigslist.

If anyone wants it, it'll be located in Texas in the next few months. I'm not sure when I will get around to getting it out of the car, but its coming out eventually.

'87 Grand National, ex-track car. The owner before the previous owner did all the work on the car and raced it. Car hasnt been completely looked over yet and the previous owner knew little about the car so a lot is being discovered while working on it. The car had a bigger intercooler which required the front sway bar to be removed which would have been normal for a drag car but the plan to is to turn it back into a street car. The car is in need of some cancer treatment, but is not too bad. The car has an upgraded turbo, adjustable push rods and a few other goodies. Interior is pretty much perfect except for the diver's seat. It was purchased about a year ago for $4500.

I only rebuilt the stock engine because it was a hurst car, not a regular cutlass. I wanted to keep the car original. Any other car i would have gladly removed the 307 for something better. I was planning on doing an olds 350 or 403 for it originally, but i wanted to leave the car stock. I do regret it sometimes because the car is no street performer, but thats what the turbo regal is for haha

This is my 1987 Oldsmobile 442, I am going to try at this again, its a stock build, only thing not original is the exhaust. it has the original 2004R not "the original" but "an original" vin9 307ho out of one of my previous 442's. It's been repainted once and the car itself has about 49,000 miles on it and the engine has about 250 miles on it. The car was daily driven up until 1992 then was sold and then was stored and taken out a few times a year. then got new paint and exhaust in 1998 and continued its life of sitting under a car cover next to a garage until it got driven rarely. then in July 2010 i got a hold of it. due to it sitting so long the mufflers rotted out and i replaced them and also 2 piston rings broke and one took a chunk out of the cylinder wall. then became the rebuild in October of 2010. took me until March of this year when i got the rebuilt engine back in and put back together and what you see now is what i got.

Some nice Cutlasses in this thread. I'm sure I probably wouldn't hate the 307 in my Regal nearly as much as I do if the car had a 3.73 rearend in it like the Cutlasses got...instead it has a 7.5" with a 2.56 gear. It wouldn't pull a sick wh*re off the pot. lol.

I'm glad my 442 has the 307 in it, I was hoping to find an original and stock 442 and I did luckily. Mine's souped up a bit though.
