Since you are not in a hurry- why not splurge and get the correct yellow compound? Just to humor us old-timers?

looks really good to me, just to make sure that was not luck you should disassemble everything and start over... 😊
 
The top pics look like it is too much towards the toe but the bottom pics looks like it is too much towards the heel?!? Maybe it is the lighting? How does it look in person? Centered?

I'll take a few bonnwagon, the first two teeth don't look good, but the the ones after that are looking great.Think is just the paint/gear oil mixture not coming off completely. Centered heal to toe and and crown to root on the drive, and same on the coast. . But I will dbl check it tmmr and post better pics.
