Gear Pattern.... yay or nay??

Thought you said go more than .008 with used gears. Or did I misread that? its measure at just under .010 rn... What would you set it to gp?

that was a typo, if you go back you'll see I corrected it. With used gears I set them near the minimum spec and I would not have more than .008 backlash

I should have checked my post before posting......once you get this one done you will never be shy about doing another and the next one won't take you long to do.

Ok guys, I'm hoping this time I got it. Backlash down to .008, pinion shim thickness up to .024, pinion bearing preload at 20 in lbs, carrier bearing preload at .000, and bearing main caps at 65 ft lbs. this is with no load.......yea or nea? 🙏🙏🙏
 
Yes, that looks good to go. But the blue makes it hard to tell for sure.
