Guys, any example of jacking body off frame to re-do suspension without "baring" the shell first? I'd like to roll chassis out, clean, paint, replace parts, clean bottom of car, then new bushings and replace back on then. No rafters to use, have a cherry picker tho. Thanks!!!!

I used an engine lift to lift the body and then placed it on 4x4s that were sitting on cinder blocks. I used donuts on each wheel to make it easier to roll out. it will help to have a couple of friend to help. It's hard to watch everything when you work alone

Ok, so how did you use the picker? Where did you attach it to? I just read elsewhere they "wrapped" straps around front part of car(doors on) and hoisted up to get on the 4x4's.... Any thoughts?

When I did mine, I actually hooked up to the trunk lid latch hoop thing for the rear and used a small length of chain between the body mount structures in the front. Of course I had the front clip off to...

I used the seat belt anchor holes to secure straps to lift it up. . I had the front clip and doors off at that point
