CUTLASS Girth issue, when your hose is just a 1/4 in to small

Advice needed,
I inquired a new aftermarket aluminum radiator from online that supports a upper 1' 1/2 hose instead of the 1' 1/4.in Has anybody here run into this before.
I have a all stock 1985 442 307 with stock water neck and wanna try to keep it that why if possible. Is there an earlier year model olds that runs the 1' 1/2 x 1' 1/2 hose so I don't have to use a fit all accordion type hose. Thanks for any help

this hose is for a v6 monte but it's the 1-1/2 you're looking for.

Then, put a sleeve of 1.25 on the water neck, and put the 1.5 over it.
