Glasstek or VFN 4" cowl hood

Qdub24, it took 2 weeks for them to get it to me from the day I called, I didn't purchase it off eBay, instead I called and talked to the manager Rob and asked if they could give me a better deal instead of going threw eBay and the seller/paypal fees. I was thinking about getting these for my hood pins, they look TOUGH, besides if they can hold the hood on a 100+ mph off road vehicle, holding one on mine should be a breeze

No name hood, used to be sold on ebay and see lots of adds on craigslist for them:

Underside:

Bolt mounts pulled out of the non name hood, cowl is not open, underside is finished, fit is not so great.


Glasstek hood:

Underside:

Glasstek fits better, not finished underside, open cowl, lighter. Doesn't seem to flow or wiggle at speed, no hood pins in mine.

My step brother has a shorter Harwood with a finished underside its pretty nice.
