GN rear end ?'s

OK guys so I have a lead on a Grand National rear end for $250, I know nothing of how to actually identify it. What should I be checking for?

Easy to identify the 8.5 is to look at the bottom of the center section. The 8.5" has squared off corners, the 7.5" appears to have "fangs" on each side. If it's the real deal $250 is a steal.

Well guys it was good too to be true I suppose. He keeps insiting it is an 8.5 but doesnt look to one compared to the pictures in Kuruptions link.
