Did you drive your fuel pump directly with the FiTech PWM signal (orange wire) or go through a relay?I did the fitech efi conversion. I used a gn tank, sender and aeromotive 340 stealth pump.

This picture was very helpful to me. Thanks for posting.I don't think the gn sending unit will work due to the different size and shape of the fuel tank. If you can make it work that'll be great.
When I did the swap on my malibu. I used a corvette filter/regulator to the 3/8 hard line then from the 3/8 from the sender to the filter the middle sender line also to went my filter which also has a return and the 5/16 outside line to the charcoal canister.
On the middle sender line you can cut the step down neck back to when it gets to 5/16.
