50k .....100k ...... whatever the price of a GNX is, all the KEY THINGS that make up a GNX HAVE TO BE IN PLACE!!!! Not like this 537 GNX, where the asking price does not reflect what the car (in my opinion) is worth, not when you have most of the key factors making a GNX a GNX, in question or missing.

* deer accident collision (front and passenger side of car) repairs are noticeable
* radiator and exhaust changed out
* original turbo is missing
* power antenna has been replaced along with original radio
* no GNX jacket or original books or paperwork

#537.......GOOD RIDDANCE !!

Did the GNXs get the cool suspension stuff
Sure did.

It's a 3 link "torque arm" type suspension with a panhard bar, no watts link. I don't think there's much room for the setup it has, let alone all the extra room a watts link setup would require with it's bell crank and extra links.

I've always wondered why they built the "torque arm" or whatever the proper term for the center 3rd link is, the way they did. Seems like they could have repurposed the 3rd gen F body three link suspension to the same effect. Has anyone ever tried that? The suspension in those cars works well, handles pretty well, hooks up good.

Yeah, but not $2700 good!

Oh is there a kit to do that?

I know that Kirban sells (or sold) GNX replica suspension, but I think the kit alone costs more than that, I thought it was like $4,000 and I think I heard about $2,000 to install. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

Didn't really look too hard at the suspension pics but does the torque arm mount to the trans like the 3rd gen F bodies & H bodies?

no, there's an additional crossmember in the kit that it mounts to.
