Cool cool... Yeah I'm not set on it, but I think I'm going to take off the ornament.

I'm not personally building a clone of anything, I just want to get rid of the badges and ornaments for a less cluttered look. And not immediately give it away that it's a Limited maybe have some people guessing for a little while.

Check out my build thread for info on this. The hole in the header panel is a little smaller than a nickel, not hard to fill at all. The McGuards satin black trim paint that you can find at checkers/oreillys, car quest etc, is an almost exact oem match to the black satin trim on t types and grand nationals. Be sure to use self etching primer on the chrome bumpers and on any chrome trim or chrome plastic piece that you are trying to paint black. It will allow the primer to adhere to the piece and give you a good base to shoot the satin black over. My limited had the black out trim package from the factory, so I just skipped most of this step. My other limited had the more desireable aluminum bumper supports with the chrome bumpers so they got painted black and swapped over. Less weight. The hood scoop is a bolt on unit that is a n exact repro of the turbo hood scoop on the regals. The flares, louvers, spoiler, front air dams on my car are all new and ran about 900 to 1000 shipped. The body work took a while but wasnt the hardest car Ive ever done. Fender flares are a pain in the *ss to get lined up right. SPoiler is a pain in the *ss as you have to drill access holes in the under side of the trunk to access the mounting studs for the spoiler. Satin black paint is a pita to keep clean, Im thinking of shooting a couple of coats of clear over mine so its a little easier to care for. Ill quit rambling for now check my build thread or pm me for more details.
