Good Idea for Cold air intake

I have a 83 Cutlass Brougham any ideas for custom and cheap cold air intake?

use the stock air cleaned with no filter. run a pvc or flex hose to the opening with a cone filter on the pipe at the front of the car. or just run a K&N open filter on the carb.

His suggestion should work well and be very cheap & easy. Another realatively cheap and easy way with a little more cool factory can be seen in my pics.
