Got an Early Birthday Present Yesterday

Thanks guys(and or gals), now I'm blushing.

I'd be bragging, not blushing. If I had removed the body bushings when I first got the car like I should have it I'm thinking it would have saved me a bunch of work..

how did you do with the lottery tickets from last nite?....

I haven't checked my lotto numbers yet.
I'm going to use my rustproofing air gun and attach a flexible hose to blow my secret rust abatement formula into the body mount captured nut chambers.
The secret ingredients start with either (1) Fluid Film, Rust Check oil, used auto trans fluid, used differential oil
-either (2)foundation coating, roof sealer or body undercoating thinned with lacquer thinner or WD40 till runny
-combine some of 1 and 2 to a sprayable consistency
It's messy and may need to catch dripping but it solidifies to a wet, sticky coating that works great in hidden compartments and along body seams.
All I can say is that it works for me on my daily drivers for the last 25 years here in the salty north.

you forgot to add your "formula" is pattern pending..you wouldn't want anyone to steal that...🙂

I got my body mount bolts out without breaking anything.
Your body mount bolts were done by the "new guy" on the line that thought it would be a good idea to put anti-seize on the bolts for future removal by the consumer but management put a stop to that right away.

Yeah, they fired him. LOL

As a past owner of auto shops my guys broke a lot of bolts. The major key is...patience..
Some heat is good and a good penetrating spray. A good solid whack with a designated striking implement(hammer) on the bolt helps.
Remember as the bolt or nut moves it generates heat and expands making it tighter.
Believe it or not one of the best rust sprays that I found was sold by...dare I say it.....I must...I must..
Ford motors. Small blue can. Cannot remember the actual name though.
Just really take your time and you will find most will come out
Congrats on a great b-day present.
