Good deal bro!

Are the 3-series carriers hard to find? Would it be easier/cheaper to source a carrier, or just use the spacer? The spacer set-up seems to be pretty solid. I am getting ready to swap out my 2.56:1 set for a 3:42 set out of a Camaro. I hope that will give me a little more pick-up.
Does anyone have any recommendations as far as what I should replace while I'm in there? I've looked at the install kits offered at Summit/Jegs, or is it better to piece together from different suppliers?

just use the carrier out of the camaro and I believe just gettin an install kit from summit or jegs is as good as any good luck. 😀

As lonf as the carrier is out of an 82'-88' Camaro. Any newer and it will need to have 28 spline axles too.

That is a good point. Are there any 28 spline axles in the length I need for the Cutlass? Will F-Body or S-10 truck axles work?
I have read that the 28 splines are beefier than the 26, but don't want to drop a lot of cash in the 7.5" with custom axles. I'm just looking for better acceleration on the cheap for now until an 8.5" comes around.
Also, if the gears are out of a 7.625"/28 spline, will they work if I go with the spacer/2-Series carrier? Sorry for so many questions at once. Thanks for the help.
