Now that's what I'm talking about Longroof. Here it is waiting for me to get the money together to get the engine swapped. That parts done just waiting for them to stick my tires on and the final bill. I got the Summit Crossmember and 2.5 duals along with new center link, tie rod ends and idler arm sitting in my garage. Can't wait till she's back home. Small stuff I can still do. Worst part, or best depending on who's point of view you take, is my Sister-In-Law works for a junk yard and they have THREE 4 DOOR G's just waiting to be plucked. Most have been stripped from the front seat forward but they still have what I need or rather want.

Good lookin' wagon, JD.
Where are you located? Looks like you came to the right place if you're looking for a Pontiac dash...

I'm in Brooks, KY but originally from @Greensboro, NC. I have always had a soft spot for this body style. One of my dream cars, and there are quite a few, is an original M80. I remember when they were new, of course if you have ever been in that area you know you can't spit without hitting either a dirt track or drag strip. Grew up watching Bowman Grey Stadium, 311 Speedway, Piedmont Dragway, The Rock, North Wilksboro and Farmington Dragway. My Dad still lives less than 4 miles from the old Petty Enterprise's which is across the street from his house. My Uncle ran a Gremlin in the 1/8th and 1/4 when I was little and my Baseball/Football Coach raced a Daytona Turbo Z with a Sox and Martin 426 for the local CBS station during the late '80s. Had a Great Uncle who worked for the local AMC dealer. You could say that cars have been in my blood since I was born. Local guy bought a brand new M80 down at the Darlington Race and took it straight to a Body shop and had them reverse the color scheme. I would love to turn mine into a Wagon continuation version if they had kept building them.

JD,
Sounds like hot cars and gearheads were all around you. I could see how easily you could be influenced.
An old friend of mine had a Malibu M80 back in the '80's up in NY. It was all original. White with blue stripes, and also had the M80 designated in the side stripes. It was a factory 4-spd car. I never saw, or heard of them until he showed up in front of my house with it. It had the SS airdam and trunk spoiler. I thought it was a pretty neat car at the time.
Apparently they were prepared by a Chevy dealer in NC. There was a guy over at Maliburacing that was into these cars and was also involved in restoring them. He was pretty much an authority on these cars.
An M80 wagon could be easily achieved. Check into the stripes, etc.

Am I the only one that like the Chevy dash? The GP on is to bulky for me.
😀 I think you just might be.

At one point Pontiac dashes were easier to find in good condition as opposed to Malibu/ Monte Carlo dashes. I think that might be one of the reasons guys have turned to the Pontiac dash...aside from more places to put aftermarket gauges.
I also think they're a cool looking dash. I wouldn't have minded a Pontiac Lemans wagon with the dash already in place..
Nearly every Chevy dash that I have ever come across, except one, were complete junk. The one nice one was in a clean '81 Malibu wagon wreck that was a Mosquito breeding chamber. I left it there. :?

JD,
What are the interior parts in the junkyard 4-dr cars like? Condition, color, etc.
