What is the "over-maintenance" you referred to in one of your early posts? Looks like just the right amount to me. Any 30-40 y.o. car still being driven 3-4 hours at a time has something going right. As far as your family, including Granddad, anal much? You apparently all have that picky side that's hard to keep going for generations---Congrats! I've seen your awesome 510 somewhere before, HAMB or Garage Journal??? I love all the rides,keep 'em rolling brother.

Thanks, guys. It's a really nice car but I can't take all the credit. My grandparents took excellent care of it. I've cleaned it up some but the foundation was already there. While part of me wants to keep it as close to stock as it is, I'm still itching for an Olds swap. I doubt my grandpa would mind much. He was an Olds guy since back in the late '40s.
