Grandpa Car: 1979 Cutlass Thread

A little side story on this that goes along with my last post in the Prison Planet thread. I went out to pick this engine up and met with a guy who was liquidating the estate of a friend who died at 83 with shops full of parts, surrounded by unfinished projects. He said he sold over 40 cars that were on the property. While I was there the dead guy's daughter showed up and I was within earshot of their conversation while I was loading it. There are brothers, cousins, etc. fighting over random stuff along with unauthorized sales by friends and relatives. It's a total sh*t show.
What did I learn? Try not to leave an unorganized mess for your friends and family to clean up when you're gone. I'll be actively thinning my collection, I'll make the conscious effort not to have too many unfinished projects. One at a time.

Looks like I neglected to update over here but dropped it in the Prison Planet thread a few weeks ago.
I split up the stuff I drug home a couple months ago.

Scrap guy got the frame and suspension, Craigslist will get the transmission and pile of rando parts. Engine goes on the stand until whenever.

What are the the odds in the universe that you found a rolling engine stand suited to hauling home on a tow dolly?!?

I believe it fits but hangs a little lower because it carries an extra quart. Supposed to have a windage tray too. I hadn't necessarily planned on using a Toro pan. It's a ways away but I was searching for factory exhaust manifold options this morning. Baby steps.
I have a set of W/Zs on the shelf taking up space.
