An A5 intake should work better imo though I never personally looked at the port compatibility.

[olds307 and 403]

The 260 actually has a better port placement than the swirl port 307 IMHO. The swirl port 307's port is right in the middle and the 260 is at the top of the port. Some have adapted it to a 260 by opening up the top of the A5 intake port. I do know where there is one locally.
