I know it's been discussed in the past, but here we go again. What's the best, most user friendly plug and play H4 sets out there for our cars? I'm looking for something better then the stock sealed beams.

Auto pal H4 is what I have. looks almost stock, but really lights it up. I bought a summit headlight relay harness at the same time, so not quite a fair comparison, but it's great at night!

Search "clear lens diamond cut headlamps". There's pics of the Autopal lamps and a harness from Kirban Performance.

All the kits are pretty much the same, just different brand names. Don't be tricked by the 55 watt sets, they use 35 watt bulbs cause 55 watt bulbs are very expensive. With 55 watt ballast and 35 watt bulb the light gets scattered. I wouldn't cheap out on the lenses. I have tried the chinese junk lenses that have no light pattern and they are not sealed properly so they leak driving in the rain. I have 4 Hella lenses which have a nice light pattern that lets you see further down the road without blinding oncoming traffic like the cheap chinese lenses do. I use 2 4300K bi-xenon for hi/lo beam and 2 4300K hid for the high beams

Are they a direct swap or did you have to modify your existing wiring or did you need a harness?

You will need a harness that has a relay wired in so no need to upgrade the existing wiring. If I recall correctly you may have to rearrange the wiring in the headlight connector to match the two pin connector on the hid harness. If you get the bi xenon the the intensity of the hid light does not change, there is a cover over an opening that is moved allowing the light to hit the bottom of the I don't plan going back to a sealed beam so I cut the headlight connector off and hardwired the hid harness.

I bought the hella H4 conversion for my Malibu and put nighthawk platinum bulbs in. 500% better. The beam pattern is super nice, my high beams stretch forever down the road now. I'd bet that you will notice a huge difference even using the bulbs that come in the kit just because the beam pattern is so much nicer.

And they don't look like they belong on an Integra!
