harness question?? please help

The solenoid that raises the idle speed when the A/C is on or high P/S load. For SBC it is usually a simple single wire solenoid connected to the engine harness. The 231 uses a more complex 4 wire computer controlled solenoid that plugs into the computer harness instead, hence why a 231 engine harness doesn't have a provision for a idle solenoid . SBO, uses a computer controlled vacuum diaphragm to raise the idle speed which would mean a Olds engine harness won't have a provision for a idle solenoid either. Each division had its own way of doing things .

Oh my regal doesn't have AC doesn't have anything lol.. Not by choice. Putting heat back in it when I do the dash swap. I converted it to a 4 speed manual too
 
early model harnesses are different at the firewall. Engine harnesses are different V8 versus V6 because of location on the starter and other component locations. If you need a harness for a V6 or a V8 (chevy or olds engine), ECM, Headlight pre 84,or after let me know as I have many harnesses for all the combinations.
