Get it up on a lift you will be able to tell quickly if she's been hit .

Unfortunately I don't have access to one
Most good shops will do an inspection for a minimal fee I would not buy a car with out having it up in the air and properly inspected. Wheels off, compression, fluid leaks rust, crash damagh, ECT...

both of my wings were broken. I wedded the pivot back on them both. It isn't much harder than changing the unit, it seems like I had to remove a few rivets to get the glass out of the frame.

good luck with which ever one you pick!

Hi Brian,
I have tried welding one of my old vent window frame/ pivots. It actually came out okay, but I didn't properly align the shaft (pivot) to the frame. It should be slightly bowed at the right angle. Believe it or not, I welded it with the glass still in the frame.
I think I used the wet rag process and tacked it in gradually

Most of the ones that you might find today would probably have a broken shaft or the rubber seal is beat...or both. You could still get lucky and find decent parts.

It does not take a hard hit to missaline things. Work hinges and readjust door to latch . I redid a 4 door while back guy actually had 8 doors he went through to get fit that was nice/livable . Just jack it up crawl under pop hood and see if repiant udner there on fenders .

I had 1 that I bought totaled and had totaled 3 more time and couldn't tell

Wow

I would suspect that somebody had the doors off at some point and didn't take enough time to re-align them afterward.
It's not a difficult fix if you have the know-how and patience to do it...

Yeah I am still contemplating which way to go, I want to get one but there are pros and cons about both, I would like to pick up the one in the photos and get started on it but I have no way of putting it on a lift, the other one .......well it just would need more mechanical attention (kick down, hacked AC, .....BUT STRAIGHT PANELS lol)

Start at back doors and work forward after thing a loosened up
Front fenders could be back to far causeing front door at be back to clear.

It has a frame so unless hack job of a redo should be fine
