Help bad idle

I found the mis it was a bad vacuum advance on the distributor but now it has a how would I explain it.... like while its idling in gear driving I should say it has a pause and its constant like
Rrrrrrrrr.rrrrrrrr.rrrrrrrr.

Sorry I dont know how else to describe it

so both distributors had the same problem?

One is new And the other was from another engine the older one I put a new vacuum advance and still did the same. Thw new distributor I've gone through pretty good swapped out module too just to be sure
