Beware the Scammer! If this alleged vendor starts out the conversation by wanting some kind of "retainer" or "fee" to continue the discussion, lose 'im. About the only sure way to guarantee what you see is what you get is to either physically visit the location of the vehicle, and bring a wad of C-notes and a trailer to do the deal on the spot if you like what you see (And be sure to do a belly crawl and ogle the floor pans the frame horns) or, if you have trusted long time buddy located fairly close to the vendor, get him or her to pay the vendor a visit and have them do just what i suggested in the brackets. The phrase of the day here is, "Caveat Emptor" or "Buyer Beware" and I will almost flat guarantee that at least one of the many who call this forum group their regular go to site for matters :"G" related will have that phrase inked onto them as a tattoo.
