I agree, it's very tough to replace front coil springs with the body off the frame.Its a sketchy garage job, I did it with 4X4's, 2 floor jacks and 8 jack stands. Any way you go about it it's dangerous, but looks like you were as safe as can be, took the time and went slow. That is the only way to do it. Hope your not replacing the front springs with the just the frame..... Its a MF'er! And really dangerous! I about killed myself twice!! LOL Good Luck!
Easy to do this.... safely also... Jack under lower control arm. Place a sturdy chain under the front wheels of jack, up around the frame and bolt chain together. Then you can jack it up no problem.
