Dude at jegs was adamant that it wouldn't fit without modifying it. Idk might try it or look at other options
You gotta understand that its some guy just reading off the catalog listing & may or may not be a car guy, but atleast not a A/G guy. The Supreme guys have been dealing with this for years. Some Cutlass' use the same frame as the Monte Carlo. The stock TH200-4R crossmember is the same for your Cutlass as for all G's with one, same goes for the 3sd auto/manual trans crossmember. I have most of my F41 suspension parts came off Supremes & I have a Monte.

The Supreme thing is ridiculous especially on the G bodies, they are exactly the same. Even on the 70 to 72 Supreme with the different body, the under carriage was the same. Just a stupid myth, probably someone grabbed a Supreme with bad mounts and body bushings and it was a "Supreme" that must be why parts don't fit.

I've had my '87 Cutlass Supreme since 2001 and can't recall the amount of times I've heard or seen this brought up!

If the body bushings are sagging as most are at 30+ years old, a BFH will help the crossmember clear the underside of the floor pans.

I opted for the G force unit. Yes it's more expensive, but stronger! However, I have new body bushings and clearance isn't an issue. I just recently sold my TH350 to purchase one for a 4L80E I hope to get soon. It's a beast and I don't have to worry about breaking it....

I ordered a iceman crossmember should be here any day now. Put the motor in today. The T/A and cutlass must have different alternator brackets that's the next thing to work out. Long day time to enjoy some beers

You will probably want the brackets and pullys from a 307 or 260 car

that's the 260 stuff in my 78 it puts the alternator off to the side way out of the way

Yeah it's that or cutting hood support or maybe a cowl. Idk I've made more progress on this in three months than a 79 trans am in 3 years

The T/A has unique brackets for the 403. Looks like the A/C is gone. Olds actually moved the alternator to the passenger side where the A/C compressor sits. Hook up your PVC and use a real air cleaner at some point, of course I would have kept the factory 800 cfm Qjet any day over an Edelbrock carb as well.

Yeah I'll be throwing a different air cleaner on it before it's ready to be fired up. Going to get something low profile.
