Joined up recently and wanted to say, "Hi." Just bought my first toy last week, a 1979 Grand Am from grandamman. Hoping to solicit any recommendations from Indianapolis-area members. Anyone have any mechanics they prefer to take their cars to? Honest mechanics who have knowledge of these cars. Just want to have some shops in mind when the time comes that my car might need some TLC. Hopefully it won't be anytime soon! 🙂 Thanks everyone!

Welcom, another Indy member here. Don't really have any shops I know very well, try to do work myself to save some $$...my neighbor is a mechanic who works on the side, he mainly works on Fords but is pretty handy, I'd let him work on my vehicle....

What's up from Cincinnati. I it's not too far for ya bring it down here, between myself and a few friends, there is almost nothing we haven't done to or repaired on a G-Body.
