i'm surprised. every time i've seen white smoke it's been some sort of coolant leak. i would have expected valve seals to cause blue/gray smoke.
 
It'll puff some white until the car warms up - there's nothing wrong with that.
 
ya white smoke could be oil still, so cold everything is white. When it smells sweet then you have coolant getting in the combustion chamber.
