I just acquired a pretty decent shape 79 Cutlass Supreme Brougham with the small V-8 in it (which I believe is the 267?) I am having issues with the kick down cable mounting. The engine has a 2 barrel carb on it and there is no provision on the carb to hook the cable up to it (it looks like the same kind of cable that would be included with a 700R4 trans that slips over a "button") can some one please take a picture of their setup sop I can get an idea of how this thing mounts because right now it is "rigged" with a piece of hanger and the trans doesn't kick down on wide open throttle or anything and I cannot see how it mounts.
