Looking to add a little style in my regal by adding some of the ebay projectors.
Are there any problems about switching them? ive read that you might burn up the headlight switch because of to much wattage?
Can anyone chime in on what i would need?

my car is a 78 buick regal if that matters

ive had the HID lights on my cars before. one was my 85 el camino. i had no problems with them at all and actually going to put some on my 81 el camino when i get the lights as well. maybe if you buy the 55w set you might have a problem but im not to sure. usually everybody has the 35w set and ive never had a problem with those before.

where can i find the 35w ones? and are they just plug and play?
well theyre on ebay. they usually say 35w in the description and are the most common ones. 55w sets dont show up without searching. and yes theyre plug and play, no splicing or anything. just make sure the wires are correct on the plug. sometimes the negative is where the positive is and all you have to do is flip them around.

yea the regular bulb will be fine, i want more of the look with the halo ring and stuff. cruising nights with that i think would be pretty cool

I bought my light conversion on ebay i have the 35w HID kit with the wire adapter and relay kit and the projector headlights i had to make a small mod to make it fit the headlight bezel but it only took 10mins with a cutoff wheel. My pic shows the difference HID vs Stock light.

Will those plug and play ones work? I don't have the electrical skill, I'm a motor guy.
I just want the cool looking headlights with the halo
