My 86 SS rides fine a 40 to 50. At 60+ I have vibration. Feels like to its coming from the front end. Tires are 2 years old, didn't get a lot run time. New ball joints and wheel bearings. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?

I would check the idler arm, they are known not to last very long or it could be a tire balance issue

I feel it in the steering wheel and notice the dash vibrating.

what about switching the front wheels for the rear...that should let you know if it's the wheels or something else

okay, first check around the rim to see if there are any clean spots where a weight may have fallen off.
Then take a flashlight, and shine the light along the side wall of the tire. Kinda like a needle going around a LP on a record player.
Then shine it along the tread. In both cases what you are looking for is any breakdown of the tire itself. If nothing is found there, then climb under it and start jiggling the various bits and pieces looking for excessive play. a lil jiggle I'm told isn't unexpected from what I was told.
However.....before you do anything else, tell us this.....did you have this work done, or did you install the new parts yourself?

I installed all new parts
