Boy, can I relate to that says the guy that just spent the last hour mowing the lawn and the previous evening cleaning the house and doing laundry.
Lol
One thing about being on my own and a homeowner, if I don't do it, it doesn't ever get done!
Good luck with the shed repairs. Love the sunflower growing out of the gutter btw!
😉

I must say, I'm guilty of home maintenance neglect. The house can use paint and some rotten wood replaced, but I think I'll address that when the weather gets a bit cooler. Of course, what will happen is, I'll get sidetracked doing work on the car instead and put off necessary repairs, etc. .
However, I'm pretty good about mowing and trying to keep the perimeter tidy.

Quinn, is the gutter torn away from the structure? I also like the sunflower growing out of it...trying to revert back to nature.

No tin shed comes with gutters. I had some extra from doing the house and thought I'd use it on the shed. Then I forgot about the molting pinion trees dropping needles to match the rain level. As you can see, I need to start paying attention because many of my carefully hoarded car parts are boxed up out there.....

Started cleaning out the needles and they're already composted at the bottom. An the sunflower has a creeping vine climbing it. Man, this is embarrassing!

You certainly don't want the elements overrunning your parts stash shed, much like the way people have their cars strewn across their properties, and having trees and such growing through them. 😱

guilty too.......add in a girl friends house....damn working for a living is getting in the way too

need a large lotto win

Dave

My wife just told me, that's the picture that goes with the phrase, 'bloom where you are planted'. I call it 'capitalism' - find and under-served market, and 'grow' your own business....

I win the lotto every time I find and stash some more parts. Of course, some would call that a hoarding problem....

I am guilty of this at times. I have a few things that need to get done this fall-winter-spring. But I am committed to getting the wagon done first. So unless it is cutting the grass of some severe issue, it waits. haha

Yup, that's life. But at least you have a home to neglect, and are not working on the street or some parking lot. THAT really sucks. Just yesterday I was sweating and getting eaten by bugs while suffering with an old weed-wacker and then the fuel line broke. I took that as a sign that I should just go fishing.......
