Hood clearance

About how much hood clearance are we getting on the 78-80 Regals? Dont have my engine in yet, but standard deck height small block, super victor + 2" spacer and 1050 dominator..

Anyway i could clear this beneath a 2" cowl? Dont mind minor fab work on the frame pad mounts if i have to. Just curious if it might be doable.. Thanks.

I think you will be lucky if it fits under a 2" cowl with an already tall single plane intake plus a 2" spacer and with a 4500 carb unless you don't plan on running an air cleaner.
Your intake and carb set up seem pretty overkill for most applications what is your engine combination that requires you to go this route?
