Nope. Totally differant lines on the front of the hood and header panel.

I'm not worried about lines matching up... Just wondering if it will bolt in and close properly...
any other combo's? Cutlass? Monte?

bump

Can some one tell me what hoods can fit on my 83GP? I don't care about lines matching up, I just need a hood that will bolt up and close properly...

The hoods all bolt to the same location. The hoods also latch in the same location. The header panels are shaped differantly and that was the hood lines I was referring to. The front of the hood won't close as it will hit the header panel. That's why a steel cowl-induction (Z/28) hood won't fit a Cutlass/Regal/GP of the same years.

You can use any 81-87 Grand Prix hood, just not any of the other G Body hoods.

thanks guys...
my idea was to use a scrap G-body hood to cut my own scoops for racing...
but I'll abandon that idea...

so, not even the other 81-87 G-body (cutlass, monte, regal) hoods will close properly on my GP?
