You know it's funny I was thinking about "the thread that shall not be named" when I saw how many pages there was and how little progress I made.You need to get with the program, finding the solution in a mere 5 pages does not give us ample time to sit back and enjoy....
I have yet to get the car out since last nights "fix". But even with the corrected spring and new shocks I think im still going to have the rubbing issue which ultimately caused the "bumpsteer" symptom. The iron headed BBC, 2" drop spindles and 26.5" front tires aren't going to play nice together and I can already tell.
I have already been hoarding parts for a Blazer front brake upgrade and the plans for this coming winter were just that. Stock height Blazer spindle and I was going to either use coilovers or cut the spring some to get the stance I want. For now I will enjoy it for the summer and try to avoid any big dips or bumps in the meantime
