Horrible bump steer to the right

You need to get with the program, finding the solution in a mere 5 pages does not give us ample time to sit back and enjoy....
You know it's funny I was thinking about "the thread that shall not be named" when I saw how many pages there was and how little progress I made.

I have yet to get the car out since last nights "fix". But even with the corrected spring and new shocks I think im still going to have the rubbing issue which ultimately caused the "bumpsteer" symptom. The iron headed BBC, 2" drop spindles and 26.5" front tires aren't going to play nice together and I can already tell.

I have already been hoarding parts for a Blazer front brake upgrade and the plans for this coming winter were just that. Stock height Blazer spindle and I was going to either use coilovers or cut the spring some to get the stance I want. For now I will enjoy it for the summer and try to avoid any big dips or bumps in the meantime

Install taller upper ball joints and you just may be able to get away with it. It changes the camber curve so the top of the tire tilts inwards instead of outwards....

Maybe that will be my excuse for buying them this winter. The iron headed BBC is just too damn heavy. Might as well spend $2k+ on aruminums!

glad you figured it out.this sh*t keeps you up at nite.
Yessir it does. Start thinking about everything it could be. Even a bent or warped frame. At least that's where my mind goes.

Well, we all make mistakes. At least that's not a bad one to correct. Actually hoping I might have a front spring set wrong causing mine to sit to one side, but that's a total suspension rebuild for another day.
The good thing here when you have problems, at least you're among friends to help with the problem & comfort you. I think the best thing for ya right now is a nice calm soothing song to help relax you.
