Question about these wheels. Do we need to have 4 fronts for them to work on g-bodys or can I just grab a set off of a TA sitting in a scrap yard? I know where a set is that I just might go get!

no but 4 front have the deep dish look so go for the 4 front

Not yet, Need to get tires soon, i need help about which size should go with???
i was thinking 255/50/16 on the rear and 245 /50/16, Man i hope the rear don't stick out alot :|

Re: Hot Diggity!! GTA Wheels are in!!! BEFORE AND AFTER PICT

my 235's can occasionally rub the swap bar in the front a little with the wheel cut all the way, i would think you would be fine with 245's but if you want to be safe 235's. i am unsure about the widest in the back because i run 235 all around, someone else will chime in im sure

Put 245's on the front and learn not to cut the wheels too far. You could do the same on the back or a 255 if you don't care about not being able to rotate the tires front to back. With some modest surgery and perfect backspacing I fit a 275/40/17 on a 9.5" wheel in the rear, that's with simple (and invisible unless you're under the car) inner lip trimming. I wouldn't recommend it if you drive it in snow and definitely not in salt.

On the front, the B-body spindle/12" brake/Upper control arm mod makes the car swallow a 245/40 or 245/45 on an 8" rim easy. One of these days I'm going to try my 9.5" rear wheels up front to see how they work and what hits. That would be sick.

hey Bawa,
those rims came out great! They look better than new! And let me tell you... $400 is an amazing deal, cuz repairing and polishing rims takes alot of man hours!

I don't have GTA rims, but my IROCs have the same dimensions as those. Here's some pictures of mine...
I have 245/50R16s all around, and you can see they don't stick out at all. The fronts sit about 1" inside the fender, and the rears sit about 2" inside.

dude, one thing you should consider is you have both Front wheels. This means you can rotate your tires! Trust me, this will come in handy.
so don't get wider tires in the rear. Just get 245/50R16s all around. That way you'll be able to rotate your tires regularly. And trust me, it's not worth going with a 255/50R16 cuz it's only a 1cm wider, you won't even notice the difference. Also, I think you will have rubbing issues with 255/50R16s on big bumps.

Re: Hot Diggity!! GTA Wheels are in!!! BEFORE AND AFTER PICT

I have 245-50-16 one each corner...the fronts did rub on the sway bar with a g body box but I have switched that out to a 92 Iroq Z box which has 32* stops compared to the 39* stops for the g body box so the u-turn is not as tight but I don`t mind it and the tires don`t rub.
