Looking for places and ideas to mount a remote oil filter (x2 if possible) on my 1984 Regal. The stock filter needs to move so it wont hit my sway bar, or rather so I can install a sway bar.

Id like to keep it as inconspicuous as possible. Thinking of using my 3qt accusump with it as well, and planning to mount that at the base of the radiator (in front).

If you have a creative location to mount it, please post!

I have the 36mm swaybar on my car with an extended filter and no clearance issues. What motor do you have in your car?

Cadillac 472/500

What motor do you have in your car?

That explains it, mine is a 3.8 but I put the extended filter which puts it real close to the sway bar but still clears it. I think someone makes an adapter that places filter at a different angle for clearance issues but not sure of their name. If I can find it I will post their name on here.

Heres one of the companies that does cadillac swap parts. http://www.cad500parts.com/index.htm

Thx for the info but im set on running the remote mount.

I dont want to be anywhere near the sway bar with this motor flexing.

Bump;

Common, is no one running a remote filter?

Heres one we mounted in a freinds 1969 Cutlass.
