the first thing to check is if the speedo cable is connected to the bk of the cluster if it is, I'd probably just put a different speedo in the cluster if it were me, that would be easy enough. Do u have a granny cluster or rallye pack? I think I've got a speedo for either kind. If interested pm me.

As for the cluster lights got working, I recommended pulling the cluster out and cleaning up the circuit board contacts and checking the bulbs. Ive always used a very fine grit sandpaper to do this. Be careful and take your time.

its possible that your speedo cable just popped off the back of the speedo, but it could also be a bad gauge or the cable broke...and as for the light you probably have a burnt out bulb.

ok so today try to take the dash cluster off but the only thing hold n it together or stooping it from coming out is a cable for the gears p r n d 2 1 how do i remove that cable?? help plz

Small clip holds that cable to the rotating portion of the steering column (it's called the shift bowl).
Gently pull the clip off the bowl.
