What do you guys use to bend your fuel lines or trans lines etc? Im tryin to bend a new fuel line from the pump to the carb on a sbc 3/8 line and I need to make a tight bend at the pump but when I do I kink the line.any tips?

I use a tubing bender like this. Mine is simpler with interchangeable dies for different sizes.

^^ what he said..and they are cheap, maybee 15-20 bucks

$7.99 @ harbor freight 🙂 They also have a smaller one for 1/4 - 3/8 line ( same design ) that is smaller for tighter corners. If you plan on using it more than once then spend some $$ on a better made unit.

Dude, save your money and stay away from Harbour fright. I bought one and it snapped in two pieces the first time I used it without too much effort. I like HF for a lot of reasons but I would not recommend this tool. Buy a good quality bender

I have used these for all of my tube bending. They are worth their weight in gold:

Works pretty decent on 1/4" solid rod too.

I have heard of the method of filling the tubing with fine sand many years ago. However, I use a tubing bender like Bonnewagon has shown. It's worked for me.

One day I'll have to invest in a good flaring tool. The cheap generic ones just don't cut the muster. They're good enough for thin tube copper, but that's another topic entirely.
