how do you spray paint stock rims

how do you spray paint like prepare them what kind of sand paper do you need and how do you use it any paint thiners or removers i would like too know everything also would sand blasting replace the need for sanding and do you need clear coats and primers am really interested in doing it and i just dont wanna really screw up my first time .... thanks to everyone in advance

just a quick sanding to get rid of the rust scale and some thick rust paint will do fine.

Have them sandblasted...

1. Remove the beauty rings and the 5 bezels on each wheel.

2. Remove the tire, valve stem and any old wheel weights.

3. Have them sandblasted.

4. Epoxy prime and paint your color of choice.

5. Mount and balance new tires.

6. Polish bezels and beauty rings or find nicer pieces if necessary and re-install.

7. Stand back and admire your work.
