ring and pinion paint check

ok i moved the pinion .002 closer to the ring gear and i have .010 backlash these are the new paint marks how does it look gents i rotated it by the carrier not the pinion

silly question how do you press the outer pinion bearing on .the inner i can do on a press but not the outer I have been using set up bearings . do the above pictures look right or does the pinion need to get closer to the ring gear?
