How not to drive in the snow.....

I find it frustrating when those people with a 4x4 think all season radials will work in the snow. Even on a small grade when snow is on the ground I have been stuck behind a 4x4 trying to get traction. If I drive my GP with bald tires in the summer I get pulled over and they same should happen to those who do not have proper tires for the snow. That all season designation on tires needs to banned.

I ran Yokohama HTS' on my 2500HD for years, even plowed with it. They only got bad when they got down to 1/4 of tread left. Even then, I could get around in as much snow as this guy was in. That dude was obviously on MayPops.

Many insurance companies give a rebate when you install 4 winters like mine does and some places like Quebec have a law that vehicles have to be equipped with winter tires. I have had 4 winters on all my winter vehicles, even the RWD, since the 80's.
