My issue is the overly exuberant use of cameras in some locations. I really don't want Big Brother watching my every move. I may not be breaking any laws, but I do enjoy my privacy. Plus, many of these cameras are used with very low thresholds, some as little as 1mph in order to raise revenues for the state and not to actually act in accordance with public safety. If a cop catches me, fine. I just don't want to be monitored all the time by an overbearing nanny state. Even though I may not immediately notice my loss of freedom and privacy, that does not mean I wish to willingly forfeit it either. Plus I am rebellious at heart and love to see someone beat the system when no real harm is done.

BTW, my SBC only has 350hp and 425ft/lbs of torque.

There is also a difference in the letter of the law and the intent of the law, If you drive 56 in a 55 you are speeding, the intent of the law is to keep people from driving excessively fast. Speed cameras and red light cameras are just revenue builders. Just one mans opinion.
