How to remove clock turner knob

Best fix in my opinion is to have it reconditioned. I don't know if our clocks came from the factory with a quartz movement but if not, that's what you want. Check out Instrument Services. They converted the clock for my dad's 62 Ford Galaxie and it was a good experience.
