I'm beginning tear down on my 78 regal and I'm Catching hell removing the Torx bolts. I've only been able to remove the upper driver seat belt bolt before breaking the torx socket trying to remove the upper passenger bolt. And before trying the upper bolts i also caught hell TRYING to remove the the torx bolts holding up the rear upper seats before giving up. Is there any tips or easy way to remove these after I buy another set of torx sockets and I am using a breaker bar on these. Any advice would help

soak them down with pb blaster if they are rusty get better torx bits they are tight usually the whole way out

I always use the torx bit with an old 6" extension and give it a few good shots with a small mallet. That frees the bolt up and it helps to get the torx bit nice and tight in the bolt.

Thanks a lot guys imma try that Tuesday (off day) after I pick up another torx bit set tomorrow

I use a T-50 torx and use a hammer to seat it. Use a long *ss breaker bar and slowly ease out the bolt. PB Blast, WD-40, ect....couldn't hurt.
