GETTING CLOSER!!!

THis is the actual prototype finished. Now let me ruin it....It needs some work, they got this thing banged out in less than 3 months into a functioning device. It is quite fussy so they will be working on getting it perfected before they send me the sample. I'd say ill have something to test out in a couple weeks.

Now, this is overseas, you see it.... all the moving parts, done. I am still waiting on my American made top plate piece of plastic. :? Our work ethic in USA needs to get better for MFG to come back here. TO have Lightning Rods before a top plate pisses me off actually.

Cool, just in time because my main rods pin snapped in half at the welds again, I only drove the car two times since having it rewelded, so hopefully you guys have worked this out or made the pins out of something more than potmetal that can stand up to more than scratch.

It sure does look like it will need more work. I'm thrilled though that there's a chance to have a cheaper alternative to NOS rods. Wondering though, has the sign-offs been done on licensing such as use of the Hurst name/design? Or are these NOT going to have the Hurst logo embossed on the rods? I'd sure hate to see these squashed due to issues like that.

Which reminds me. I'm probably going to put own set up for sale soon. When these hit the market, I'm subject to more competition, which = less demand.

Yea that is the down fall to making this available. We will have these licensed through Hurst.

I'm taking care of the Hurst licensing process thru one of Hurst Licensed distributors. Once they are approved we can move forward with a Logo. Kind of looks funny with out it on there doesn't it?

I agree we need to get the Hurst name on them

Very exciting. Do you guys have any idea the approximate price range of a new set?

Good to see progress on these things Toby! It does suck that the good old usa lacks compared to overseas companies. Everybody wants us to buy american made but sometimes it works out better to go elsewhere. Its sad but true.

looking at a $300.00 price range if my memory serves me right. Price goes down if there are more sold.
