You’ll have to look hard to see it behind the grill

hello: You're pics are so clear. It's from your phone? Your cooler is parallel to the Buick logo correct ?
IBBY
Yes, it is parallel to the logo, however is mounted lower. It’s mounted to the lower portion of the radiator support . Because of my transmission cooler being on the passengers side, I had to mount the PS cooler shifted to the drivers side in order to clear

hello people: I think a cooler is needed with the HB. To yous using a HB. Do me a favor and let the car run for a while and grab one of the hoses coming out of the HB are they hot? Mine get pretty warm to the feel and that's not using the PS much. It might be normal with the HB but I'm pretty new to it.
IBBY
It's not "needed" for functionality but it's a good upgrade. My 1-ton '89 R3500 dually w/a 7.4l TBI motor came from GM w/Hydraboost brakes & no power steering cooler. Not sure if diesels @ the time had coolers. As far as effectiveness? They worked but the lines were a freaking mess w/too many areas for leaks/issues so I ditched the set-up for vacuum assist.

hello people: I was searching around and alot truck guys have a cooler or put one on especially if going off road. Also road racers use a cooler but for me and the street it might not be needed. For the limited time I've driven the latest HB set up those lines get hot...When I first put on the HB I never touched the lines so maybe the heat has always been there? Funny that gets you to think of maybe a syn. PS fluid could be the the way to go but not cheap..
